Join us for our annual Candlelight Walk in Peninsula on Thursday, November 30th from 5:00-8:00pm!
Luminaries will welcome visitors on both sides of Main Street. The highlight of the evening will be the lighting of the Peninsula Village Christmas Tree at 6:00pm on the Bronson Church green. Local residents are encouraged to bring a simple Christmas ball ornament to adorn the tree. All attendees should wear an “ugly” Christmas sweater to add to the celebration.
Carolers from Woodridge and Kent Roosevelt High Schools will perform holiday songs by the tree, and then a special program inside the historic Bronson church. They also will be caroling throughout the Village during the evening. Businesses will be open for holiday shopping and Trail Mix will be offering an ornament craft kit for kids.
Also back by popular demand is the Door Decorating Contest! Winners will be selected after the Candlelight Walk. Please call Rebecca Urban at 330-657-2528 or email [email protected] if you wish to participate. The deadline is November 28th.
