The Peninsula Area Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1999 by local businesses, organizations, institutions, and individuals. Its mission is to:

• Advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Peninsula area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper
• Encourage and strive to maintain an ethical foundation as well as a cooperative spirit between and among members of the Peninsula community
• Promote and preserve the economic, cultural, historical, environmental and educational interests of the Peninsula, Ohio area

The chamber meets on the first Wednesday of the month at the Peninsula Library at 5:45pm.
